NO MORE TEENAGERS - Prayer Update: February 08, to March 29, 2021

EXHORTATION πŸ’•

πŸ’  PRAISE GOD!

PRAISE not only invites GOD'S PRESENCE (Ps. 22:3), but it also attracts YOUNG PEOPLE.

Psalm 92 – [Author unknown]

A Psalm. A Song for the Sabbath day.

1 It is good to give thanks to the Lord,

And to sing praises to Your name, O Most High;
2 To declare Your lovingkindness in the morning,  And Your faithfulness every night,
3 On an instrument of ten strings, On the lute, And on the harp, With harmonious sound.
4 For You, Lord, have made me glad through Your work;
I will triumph in the works of Your hands.

'PRAISE GOD as you REST in Christ's finished work EVERYDAY'

What is Praise?

Praise is 'Approval, commendation or applause, on account of, by reason of or in respect of an EXHIBITION of character or operation.

What is the difference between Praise and Worship?

"Worship" is the spirit's occupation with God just because of faith in Him concerning who He is, while "Praise" is because of something done.

This psalm used three W's which should inform our praise:
1. Why to praise God
2. hoW to praise God
3. When to praise God

Let us give praise to the Lord for His love and faithfulness.

[The entire presentation would be on YouTube eventually.]

FAMILY UPDATE πŸ‘ͺ

It has been almost 2 months since our last update and we do apologize to those who have been asking for updates.  This was due to circumstances beyond our control.

We continue to thank you for your support as God has been blessing us.  This week we are preparing for the first of two fundraising initiatives.  The first, this Friday God willing, to assist Reuben with his trade.  The second would be Friday June 25th God willing, to assist with school fees for Rae-Ann.

πŸ™ŒπŸΎ Rae-Ann

Rae continues to maintain her 4.0 GPA and her aunts, family members, our faithful friends, the Maranatha Sisters and the assembly at East Orange continue to take care of her.  For which we are very grateful.

Rae-Ann received the US$1,000.00 dollar grant which represents a partial scholarship.

She is at the stage however where she is yearning to spend her next break at home.  Please remember us in this regard.

πŸ™ŒπŸΎ Reuben

Reuben is still job hunting while sharpening his skills and doing small production jobs.

πŸ™ŒπŸΎ Lydia

Lydia celebrated her birthdate at the beginning of this period also.

Thank you again for your much appreciated support.

πŸ™ŒπŸΎ BIRTHDAY

Rae-Ann has completed her 20th year of life as she celebrates her birthdate today.  We thank God taking our family through to the point where we have "NO MORE TEENAGERS" as we I look forward to the time when we would say "no more offspring in the nest" ... πŸ˜‚
