GOD CAN TURN THIS AROUND - Prayer Update 24th May 2020

EXHORTATION 💕

💝  WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE

I realized that although it may be very difficult sometimes to to live under trying conditions i.e. no job; no spouse; lack of funds; no children; bad health; no hope etc., that situation in itself can be a blessing.  

When Jesus encountered the rich young ruler, who had a genuine desire "to inherit eternal life", it was his dependency on his riches to sustain him in this life that caused him to lose his chance at eternal life.

Having much of this world's resources can make it near impossible for you to benefit where it really counts, (in eternity).  By extension, some people seem to be: too educated; too rich; too well employed etc. to inherit eternal life.  However with God ALL things are possible.  Would you commit ALL that you have and ALL that you are to Him today?

Mark 10 : 27-b

...“With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.”

We had the privilege of fellowshipping with Christian Brethren Ministries and D'Abadie Gospel Hall, Last Sunday.  Bro Kenneth Miller from Barbados ministered on the significance of the communion service.

An important take away was that no restriction should prevent us from obeying God's word by participating in the remembrance feast.

🙌🏾 IMPOSSIBLE SCHOLARSHIP 

Upon requesting information on the procedure for applying for the long awaited 'scholarship' we received the news that there are no available scholarships for international students. 

We continue to trust God for the way forward as we depend on Him to make possible, that which seem impossible at this point.

God can turn this around 🙌🏾

🙌🏾 WILL THIS YOUTH "GO UNDER"?

We have been ministering to a young person who recently started a new business.  Due to the "covid-19 shut down"  the business had to be temporarily closed.  The Landlord however is demanding the rent notwithstanding the obvious stoppage of income.  

Apart from the resulting eviction notice, this youth then experienced a number of unfortunate domestic setbacks and is now struggling to survive.   GOD CAN TURN THIS AROUND.  

If God has prompted you to make a contribution to this cause please call me ASAP.  I will give further details and ensure that your assistance reaches this youth.

"THIS COULD BE FRIGHTENING" - Prayer Update 17th May 2020

EXHORTATION 💕

💝  DO NOT BE AFRAID ONLY BELIEVE

These days many people are afraid.  Since this pandemic has "hit home" people all over the world have been expressing fear of sickness, sanctioning (being locked away) and "sleeping permanently".   

God wants you to know today that there is no need to be afraid once you believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.  We only need to confess Him as Lord and believe that He resurrected and we would be safe.  No need to fear sickness, sanctions or sleeping. 

Luke 8:50

But when Jesus heard it, He answered him, saying, “Do not be afraid; only believe,

“Old Lions roar to generate FEAR so that the 
prey runs towards the younger lions for the kill”

EXHORTATION 💕

💝  MOTHERS DESERVE MORE

Lets not put the traditions of man before the commandments of God.  Let us honour our mothers beyond the traditional requirements of man. 

Mark 7:10-12

10 For Moses said, ‘Honor your father and your mother’; and, ‘He who curses father or mother, let him be put to death.’ 

11 But you say, ‘If a man says to his father or mother, “Whatever profit you might have received from me is Corban”—’ (that is, a gift to God), 

12 then you no longer let him do anything for his father or his mother,

"But if anyone does not provide for his own, ... he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever."

🙌🏾 RAE-ANN (OBITUARY)

When Rae-Ann left here almost a year ago she left her two beloved pet hamsters, "Bold and Vite".  She grew attached to them since she had them for about a year.  Rae knew that it was likely that she would be saying goodbye to her pets forever because they have a lifespan of around two years.

Last night we discovered Bold lying motionless in his cage.  Kiana, one of our "daughters", who happened to be on a video call with us, had the responsibility of breaking the news to Rae-Ann, who was also on a video call.

We immediately conducted a funeral procedure where his little body was laid to rest.  (Don't worry we stuck to the funeral requirements since only five of us were in attendance.)

This must bring a measure of sadness to her. 😢

EXHORTATION 💕

💝  INFECTIOUS FAITH

If you are going to infect others with your faith you need to:

1. Have it

2. Spread it, even out of season

3. Make carriers
4. Maintain a culture of infectious people

Matthew 28:19

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

"Is your FAITH asymptomatic or are you showing symptoms and infecting others”

God enabled us to serve the Thornhills and the Beharrys as we assisted with the funeral services of Bernadette Thornhill and Reva Beharry last week.

This week Rae-Ann completed her first year.  She ended with the consistency that God enabled throughout the year.  She is now looking forward to the opening of the borders so that she can come home for the summer break.

She is hoping to reclaim, (upon her return), "her room" which I now use as "my study" during her absence. 😢

Prayer is being requested for the family members of our friend Roland Agard, from Good Tidings Gospel Chapel in New York.  

Roland went to be with the Lord on May 1st 2020.  "Absence from the body is presence with the Lord"... 

May God comfort.

Our "recording studio"/Living room and the kitchen are being re-tiled, this is causing a bit of inconvenience.

👐 REQUEST RECEIVED

We have been asked to assist, if we could with children's clothing.  The children are from 8 months old to 10 years old.  

If anyone has unused children's clothes in pristine condition or information about where we can acquire same please let me know. 

EXPERIMENTING WITH MY "FRIED BURGER BUNS"


We've joined the rest of the country with their explosion of culinary exploits. Here we are experimenting with the "All new" fried burger buns, supplied to the master chef for her "Shark burgers".
