😱 "MIDNIGHT FUNERAL" - Prayer Update - 10th May 2020

EXHORTATION 💕

💝  MOTHERS DESERVE MORE

Lets not put the traditions of man before the commandments of God.  Let us honour our mothers beyond the traditional requirements of man.

Mark 7:10-12

10 For Moses said, ‘Honor your father and your mother’; and, ‘He who curses father or mother, let him be put to death.’
11 But you say, ‘If a man says to his father or mother, “Whatever profit you might have received from me is Corban”—’ (that is, a gift to God),
12 then you no longer let him do anything for his father or his mother,

"But if anyone does not provide for his own, ... he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever."

PRAYER 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

🙌🏾 RAE-ANN (OBITUARY)

When Rae-Ann left here almost a year ago she left her two beloved pet hamsters, "Bold and Vite".  She grew attached to them since she had them for about a year.  Rae knew that it was likely that she would be saying goodbye to her pets forever because they have a lifespan of around two years.

    Bold in a bucket

Last night we discovered Bold lying motionless in his cage.  Kiana, one of our "daughters", who happened to be on a video call with us, had the responsibility of breaking the news to Rae-Ann, who was also on a video call.

    Rae was in attendance

We immediately conducted a funeral procedure where his little body was laid to rest.  (Don't worry we stuck to the funeral requirements since only five of us were in attendance.)

    all done...

This must bring a measure of sadness to her. 😢

    🙏🏾  THANK YOU

Thank you again for your continued prayerful support. 🙏🏾💕💞🙏🏾

    2. Happy belated Mother's day to you Lydia. So glad to see that your daughter was in attendance at the family luncheon. So glad to hear that she continues to keep her grades up. Praise the Lord!
So sorry to hear of the death of her pet. But was happy to see that you all had compassion and gave it a decent burial and allowed her to have closure. That was great! Children can be traumatized by the death of a pet. Continue the good work in the Lord!

    5. Hi Rae-Ann,

Checking if you would like to open an investigation into the death of Bold the hamster. Maybe you could consider an exhumation so an autopsy can be done. I heard that your dad was in charge of the hamsters' welfare? (Just joking)
But on a serious note a hearty congratulations on an excellent school semester.

      2. Mr. Rodney Brown was actually the first to insist on an autopsy, therefore, evidence would likely disprove maltreatment on his part. We'll have to find evidence elsewhere.

        Thank you for your congratulations!!

    15. I had a wonderful Mother's Day. Rae gave me all A's at the end of her semester. Reub presented me with a beautiful flowering plant and assisted a great deal with cooking. Rae joined us at the table which was really awesome. We had a good time and lots of laughter.
The day ended on a sad note though when I discovered one of Rae's hamsters (Bold) lifeless in his cage. Who would tell her? was the question. Thank God Kiana was on a video call with us, so she broke the news. Rae, being the child who very rarely shows her emotion, was ok, a bit sad but she was good. I organized his casket and we had a lovely funeral service and laid him (Bold)to rest.
