HOSPITALIZED - Prayer Update: October 5 to October 18, 2020

 

EXHORTATION 💕

💝  SIX THINGS YOU MUST DO DURING COURTSHIP

Too many people are still "courting trouble" by using courtship as an "unmasking tool", whilst others (who now know better from prior knowledge or our YouTube videos on "unmasking") still have trouble figuring out what to do during courtship.   

God expects, during this wonderful period, that couples would comfort and build up one another for marriage, whilst they discuss details and make concrete plans for the wedding as well as firm investments for their marriage. 

1st Thessalonians 5:

11 Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing

"Let us be deliberate and purpose driven during courtship."

'It sis better to die single than to live in a bad marriage'

If you are going to have an effective comforting courtship:

1. Synchronize Ministries

2. Plan and Organize

3. Discuss and Decide

4. Bond and Socialize

5. Pray and Listen

6. Attend Counselling

Premarital relationships or “courtships” can be challenging or overwhelming sometimes. However, it is necessary that we have a clear understanding of what we should be doing during courtship.  

"Let us be deliberate and purpose driven during courtship."

THANKSGIVING 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

🙌🏾 We give God thanks for the opportunity to celebrate 54 on October 13.

Dinner was served at 2030 hrs. at "La Casa Buena Vista".  Compliments to the Chef, "Senora Lydia". 

A toast to "54" and expanding shirts!

Lydia wanted to ensure that we were true to Isaiah 52:7 and Romans 10:15 - How lovely on the mountains.... 

She sent me for a pedicure for my birthday.  Trust me when I tell you my feet looked worse before.

🙏🏾HOSPITALIZED

Please remember Lydia's father in prayer he has been hospitalized and is currently undergoing tests to determine the cause of his symptoms.

The latest update (21/10/20).  He was moved to the Arima Hospital in the new wing designated for Covid-19 patients.  His tests came back and he is Covid NEGATIVE.  He is being moved back to the Port Of Spain General Hospital for further observation and treatment.

Please continue to remember us in prayer since there was an issue with the pay-sheet with our  payment which caused delays in printing the cheque.  God is always on time.

Rae-Ann is currently visiting with her Auntie Tessa for a change of environment to combat the effects of "cabin fever" due to the Covid-19 restrictions and measures. 

She still continues to excel in the area of her academic pursuits.

⛪ PRISON MINISTRY

We are still formulating a plan to minister to the inmates on the required device.

⛪ VIRTUAL CHURCH

⛪ On Sunday, October 11, we visited the virtual meeting at Bethel Gospel Chapel in East Orange, New Jersey.   

⛪ On Sunday, October 18, we had the honour of ministering at Bethesda Gospel Hall in Laventille, Trinidad via the zoom platform.

Reuben continues to use his expertise to assist with the video productions.   Please remember him with regard to spiritual development and in his quest for a job within the area of his field.

On Wednesday, October 7,  we assisted Pastor Alva Corbin as he joined Ahfichia Maynard and Leonard Kennedy in holy matrimony at the First Capital Park in St Joseph. 

Lydia and I also had the honour of giving the bride away and walking her down the path respectively.

The residents at the gazebo willingly obliged to allow us to use their home. 

I am sure the gazebo residents appreciated our domestic services 😀

We are pressing ahead to get things off the ground for the virtual singles' seminar which we are recommending be pushed back to November 27 to November 29, via zoom.
