EXHORTATION 💕

💝  HOW TO UNMASK A POTENTIAL PARTNER III

Too many times we miss the opportunities to observe potential marriage partners. Sometimes we make the observation but we are unable to interpret what we observe.

Let us learn what to look for and how to interpret what we see so that we can make informed decisions about our choice for a life partner. 

James Ch. 3

16 For where envy and self-seeking exists, confusion and every evil thing are there.

17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.

18 Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

'You can't change a person, only God can'

Selfishness, (the "opposite of Love") is the basis of 99% of, if not, all marital issues.  You can observe selfishness before you get into a relationship.  However, note that, no one is 100% selfless.

Whilst observing a potential boyfriend or girlfriend you must seriously consider:

• Can YOU live with the traits they are showing you, for the rest of your life?
• How do YOU measure up to Biblical standards?
• Do YOU honestly see YOURSELF as ‘the person’ for the kind of person you want?

We give God thanks for the loan of another vehicle and continue to give God thanks for the families that make sacrifices to ensure that we remain mobile.  God is no man's debtor.  Let us continue to pray for God's blessings upon them.

With regard to the Nissan Navara that we were praying about God said "Nicer Opportunities" (NO) in relation to that one.  😁  By the time I made further enquiries it was already sold.  We are still looking for a four wheel drive vehicle, appropriate for the ministry. 

With regard to the payment for the accident from the comptroller of accounts, the cheque has to be written and sent to the risk management department for collection.  The officer there indicated that they do not write cheques in October.

⛪ BACK TO PRISON

Prison Ministry was stopped by the Prison Service since the pandemic was announced. 

We got a call from Bro Francis last week requesting the supply of videos for the spiritual development of the inmates.

So we have the clearance to go "back to prison" as soon as we can.  

Glory to God!

⛪ VIRTUAL CHURCH

⛪ On Sunday, September 27, we had the pleasure of ministering virtually to the saints at Bethel Gospel Chapel in East Orange, New Jersey.

⛪ On Sunday, October 4, we also joined the saints at Tunapuna Gospel Hall for their morning service,  Dayrells Road Sunday School in Barbados and Olivet Gospel Hall Sunday School, Trinidad.

On Wednesday, October 7, God willing the Ex-cadet and her fiancé will be joined in holy matrimony.  Brother Alva Corbin will be the marriage Officer.

We are pressing ahead to get things off the ground for the virtual singles' seminar to be held from October 30 to November 1, via zoom.
