EXHORTATION 💕
💝 WHAT IS YOUR SOIL-TYPE
Having been created in the first place from the dust of the ground, it is fitting that in one of Jesus' parables we are compared to soil. Our "soil type" determines whether we live or die or how fruitful we are when the seed of the word of God is planted in us.
Jesus, in his parable described two major classes of soil, the second type had three sub-classes:
Jesus, in his parable described two major classes of soil, the second type had three sub-classes:
1. IMPENETRABLE
a. Wayside Ground - Words immediately taken by Satan
a. Wayside Ground - Words immediately taken by Satan
2. PENETRATED
a. Stony Ground - Saved, enthusiastic, no dept, NO FRUIT.
b. Thorny Ground - Saved, distracted by the world,
resources and desires, NO FRUIT
c. Good Ground - Saved, Hears, accepts and bears FRUIT
b. Thorny Ground - Saved, distracted by the world,
resources and desires, NO FRUIT
c. Good Ground - Saved, Hears, accepts and bears FRUIT
What type of soil are you?
Let us HEAR God’s word. Let us RECEIVE God’s word. Let us BRING FORTH FRUIT.
Let us HEAR God’s word. Let us RECEIVE God’s word. Let us BRING FORTH FRUIT.
Mark 4
3.
"Listen! Behold, a sower went out to sow.
4. And
it happened, as he sowed, that some seed fell by the wayside; and the birds of
the air came and devoured it.
5. Some fell on stony ground, where it did
not have much earth; and immediately it sprang up because it had no depth of
earth.
6.
But when the sun was up it was scorched, and because it had no root it withered
away.
7.
And some seed fell among thorns; and the thorns grew up and choked it, and it
yielded no crop.
8.
But other seed fell on good ground and yielded a crop that sprang up, increased
and produced: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred."
'Seeing they may see and not perceive, And hearing they may hear and not
understand; Lest they should turn, And their sins be forgiven them.'

🕆🙌 DOUBLE HOME CALL
Obituaries are becoming a permanent feature in these prayer updates Lydia's Aunt, Sister Iris Neta Allen went to be with the Lord on Saturday 1st August 2020.
"Aunty Neta" was the eldest of Lydia's Mom's siblings. She was the type of person who would give in spite of her own needs. She will be dearly missed.
Sis Edgehill, a founding member of the Tunapuna Gospel Hall, also passed this week. She served the assembly with distinction for many years.
We have been asked to minister at both funerals which will be held Friday God willing. Sis Allen at 10:30am at Ebenezer Gospel Hall and Sis Edgehill at 2pm at Tunapuna Gospel Hall.
