EXHORTATION π
π stREST?
There is a blessing here for you today. God is lovingly saying "come and get it"... There are so many stressors in our lives today; finances, studies, relationships, deaths, Covid-19, the restricted travel and activities, elections etc. Since 2020 started it's just not letting up.
Our physical, mental and even spiritual "stREST" disposition can cause us to lose the zeal to do our duty and even take care of ourselves and our hygiene. We sometimes get caught in the "stress cycle"
The answer to our our "stREST" situation lies within our deliberate misspelling of the word. Jesus says in:
Matthew 11:28 β
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you REST.
We need to break the stress cycle by accepting His REST
Jesus wants to:
1.Restore
2.Everyone
3.Summoned
4.Today
Let us accept His REST today.
'An unrestored person is of little use to God and a danger to himself and others.'

ππΎ SAVED
Glory to God for the salvation of a suicide survivor. A young lady who attempted to take her life was referred to me 0n July 31st. Let us praise God that she eventually, on her own volition, indicated that she wanted to give her life to God.
She reported that this was the first time, in a while, that she slept as well as she did that night.
She reported that this was the first time, in a while, that she slept as well as she did that night.
Within this period under review she has been able to use her experience to help someone else. Please remember her in prayer

Ministering at Ebenezer Gospel Hall
βͺ We were also delighted to minister to the saints at Bethesda Gospel Hall in Trinidad, on Sunday August 23rd.
August 2020 has been a busy time for Jasmin as over the last few weeks she has ministered to children in Barbados, participated in CAC Tobago Senior and Junior Camps and Trinidad Senior Camp.
She is currently one of the two speakers in the ongoing junior camp that closes the August camping season.
Storytelling and puppetry continues to be a big part of her ministry and her online program will return in September.

ππ BRO. HUGH ABERDEEN
On Monday 17th August at around 10 p.m. Bro Hugh Aberdeen from Jerningham Junction Gospel Hall in Trinidad, was called home to be with the Lord at 3 score plus 10 plus 2. "Scottie" (as we affectionately called him at camp), also fellowshipped with the saints at Good Tidings Gospel Chapel in Brooklyn, New York, while he was in the USA.
Bro Aberdeen has been involved with the camp ministry from inception and began to serve the ministry as a counselor during the early years.
He played a fundamental role in my spiritual development as my daily resistance (in what was supposed to be my last camp in August 1985) proved to be no match for the "Scottie persistence". By the end of that week I was so convicted that I had no choice but to say YES! That was the point at which my life was rededicated to God.
Scottie's body laid in repose for viewing on August 21st and was interred on August 22nd after a service at the Jerningham Junction Gospel Hall.
Please remember Sis Myrtle and family in your prayer.

βͺ ELECTRONIC MINISTRY
ππΎ YOU-TUBE
It is our intention to continue the YouTube ministry as soon as we have the opportunity to.
With the recent closure of the "places of worship" we are having virtual church again. So now have 'extra impetus to return to YouTube π.
In the meantime you may catch up on those videos already posted.
ππΎ CAMPS
We have completed three virtual camps, (Tobago Junior and Senior and CAC Senior), CAC Junior Camp ends Wednesday 26th. The children seem to be having a great experience and some have even made professions of faith. We have over 90 children registered for CAC Junior camp.
ππΎ YOUTH ACTIVITY - ANTIGUA
The talent time concert in Antigua went well. Youth came out and showed their talent as they ministered to all who viewed the YouTube presentation.

ππΎCAR
The comptroller of accounts has processed my claim based on the adjuster's report. The info is as follows:
Cost before accident: TT$40,000.00
Cost of the wreck: TT$10,000.00
Amount to be paid to claimant: TT$30,000.00
We are now back and forth to the Police Station to push the Police to submit their report so that the comptroller could pay.
The family's position is that we sell the wreck for the cost of the adjusters estimate and use the funds toward the purchase of a new vehicle.
Please remember us in prayer since there is significant disparity between $40,000.00 and the cost of a vehicle that would be useful in ministry.
ππΎ THANK YOU
We sincerely thank the Wescotts for the loan of their vehicle for two and a half months and the Ramsaroops, for the loan of their vehicle below, which they are allowing us to use until September 15th 2020.
