"SHE IS NOW WITH THE LORD" ... Prayer Update 22nd June 2020 - 05th July 2020

EXHORTATION 💕

💝  RAISE THEM ON GOD'S WORD

Our best defense against Satan's plans to kill, steal and destroy the world, is to raise our children on God's word.

Teach them; practice at home; apply it outside the home; do devotions at nights and on mornings; put the word in their heads and heart and post it in your homes.

Based on Deuteronomy 6:4-9
  1. There is ONE GOD
  2. Love Him completely
  3. Ensure that the word is in your heart
  4. Instill the word in your children
Ensure that your family is an asset in the land.

Deuteronomy 6:8-9

8 You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.

9 You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

GREATEST ASSET for National Security is our families through HOW WE RAISE OUR CHILDREN.

THANKSGIVING 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

🙌🏾 RAE-ANN

We thank God and those who were moved to support us with the acquisition the full school fees for the Fall semester.

We had a setback as we tried to make the payment online today.  This I think was God's divine intervention telling us to wait.

Soon after the issue, we got the information that 'if the college is going to offer ONLY online courses she would have to either transfer to a college that offers in-class courses or return home'.

Tomorrow God willing, we would find out if Bergen Community College's courses will be 'in-class' for the upcoming semester.

God is well able, please remember this in prayer.

MINISTRY⛪

Glory to God for the enabling!  We have been busy with ministry over the last two weeks, so much so that we were challenged to post an update last week.  The activities included Olivet Gospel Hall's 48th Anniversary celebrations and family Bible Hour yesterday 5th July 2020.

Sunday Morning 28th June - Offering Up

Anniversary Celebrations - Sunday evening 28th June 2020

"In the clouds" - Anniversary Celebrations - Monday evening 29th June 2020

"Blurred Vision" - Sunday Morning 5th July 2020

OBITUARY 😢

⛪ SHE WAS CALLED HOME TO GLORY

The mother of Sis. Jasmin Simmons went to be with the Lord yesterday 05th July 2020 at the Fair Haven Eventide Home in Belmont.  She certainly had long life, having passed at the age of 91.

Sis SHEILA SIMMONS was not only mother to her three children and grand children but she mothered many in the community.  This trait has certainly been passed on to Jasmin as she currently deposits motherly care to many children in her community and beyond.

We thank God for Sis SHEILA and her diligent service to the Lord which extended to the neighbourhood and her sphere of influence.  Absence from the body is presence with the Lord.  The funeral service is expected to be either on Friday 10th or Saturdaty 11th, at Victory Christian Outreach Church Erthig Road, Belmont.

⛪ ELECTRONIC MINISTRY

🙏🏾 YOU-TUBE

It is our intention to continue the YouTube ministry as soon as we have the opportunity to.  In the meantime you may catch up on those videos already posted.

🙏🏾 CAMPS AND YOUTH ACTIVITIES

We have been asked to speak at the Tobago brethren virtual Summer Camp during next week, as well as a virtual programme at Bethany in Antigua on August 15th.  Much prayer is coveted for these events.

CAC Trinidad is in the process of planning it's virtual August camps.

Barbados United Brethren are also in the process of planning their August camp.

Please remember these activities in prayer.

PRAYER 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

I got a call from the comptroller of accounts today.  They have another form for us to fill out before they send the adjuster to assess the damage on the car.

  5. So sorry to hear of Sis. Jasmin's loss. I will remember her and family in prayer.

I am happy you were able to get Rae Ann's fees for the next semester. I pray God's will be done in terms of how things work out for her classes.

Camp season is already upon us. I am looking forward to several upcoming virtual camps and pray God would strengthen you as you continue to minister.

Wait patiently upon the Lord. Am still praying for God to move so that you will get a brand new car.
