PRAYER UPDATE 16th March 2020

THANKSGIVING 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

🙌🏾 MINISTRY AT BETHESDA GOSPEL HALL

On Sun 15th March we had the awesome privilege of fellowship at Bethesda Gospel Hall.  Due to the situation with the virus the assembly after prayerful consideration made several adjustments.  These included but were not limited to; no aged believers present, (which brought the attendance down to 18 believers), the hall and entire congregation were sanitized, the AC was turned off, the emblems were prepared under the usual and extra sanitary conditions, separate cups were used (as usual), the loaf was pre-cut and served with a disposable fork, there was one morning meeting with no other services for the week, social distancing was evident and no physical contact was made.  This was done *"not out of fear but out of care".  They will have discussions as to their operations going forward.   Well done Bethesda!  Glory to God!

God's word had its free course, we trusted that God would be glorified as the impact of prayer was evident.  The saints were encouraged to love God effectively which includes loving and caring for others.

🙌🏾  SPIRITUAL BIRTHDAY

This week I acknowledged my spiritual birthday.  It was around 2045hrs on Monday 10th March 1975 that I made a commitment to God.  

Led by Bro. Dalma Edwards (dec.) from Antigua I confessed with my mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord and believed in my hear that God raised Him from the dead.

🙌🏾  DOORS TO MINISTRY OPENED

• Ministry at La Brea

On Wednesday 11th March we presented our selves and ministered in La Brea. We accepted a new ministry assignment to minister at Majuba Gospel Hall every second Wednesday (God willing).

We had a lively discussion on the development and maintenance of our personal relationship with God which was well received.

We had yet another opportunity to bring comfort to a grieving family this week, this time the family of Mr Errol John.

🙌🏾  OPEN AIR MEETINGS

We had three days of open air meetings ending on Thursday 12th March when we sought to challenge the residents to recognize and evade the deadliest virus known to mankind.  

Apart from giving clear guidelines as to how to evade the dreaded Covid-19, we highlighted the death rate of SIN in 2020 and encouraged all to commit to God for deliverance the pandemic of SIN.

 🙏🏾 GLORY TO GOD FOR THE MEASURE OF RECOVERY OF BROTHER VICTOR GILL (HILLCREAST)

PRAYER 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

 🙏🏾 RAE-ANN 

The citizens of Teaneck, where Rae is, were directed to self quarantine due to the relatively large number of people in the town who tested positive for the virus. 

They have also been advised to stay at home between 8pm and 5am.

Rae's school is currently on an extended spring break and there has been talk of online classes.

While there is no need to be panicked and over hyped, at the home in which she is staying there is need for special caution.    

So please remember this in prayer 

🙏🏾 PRAYER FOR AND SERVICE TO THE ELDERLY

Please remember our elderly in your prayer.  Let us also see what we can do to serve them and their dependents during this time. 

🙏🏾 THOSE WHO ARE AT RISK

Please remember those who are still not saved and are therefore subject to a fate FAR worse than the virus.  Let us take this with even MORE urgency. 

🙏🏾 FUNDING FOR TRAINING IN PANAMA

Training programme in Panama for October is still on.  We are praying that by then things would have settled.

🙏🏾 CONTINUING MINISTRY ASSIGNMENTS

Assignments have been significantly reduced to online operations as we continue to reach the youth of the Caribbean and elsewhere.

The prison ministry at ECRC Arima has been suspended.

Three of our five regional students are returning home as advised by their institutions.  Please remember them in prayer
